After a serene drive from Texas, Cypress Bend Resort, BW Premier Collection welcomed us with warm hospitality and a lovely ambiance. the stunning setting on the shores of Toledo Bend Lake offered a perfect escape from city life. The well-maintained grounds and spacious guest rooms provided a relaxing environment. the hotel's 18-hole championship golf course and full-service spa were enticing, offering opportunities to unwind and rejuvenate. We encountered issues with housekeeping, from dirty floors to an unclean coffee machine. the welcome drink was a nice touch, but the overall housekeeping standard fell short of expectations. Despite these shortcomings, the proximity to North Toledo Bend State Park and Hodges Gardens State Park offered outdoor adventures nearby. the Spa at Cypress Bend, though we didn't experience it, seemed promising with its organic body products for massage and facial services. Although our stay had its ups and downs, the resort's potential for a relaxing retreat was evident. With a bit more attention to detail in housekeeping, Cypress Bend Resort could truly shine as a premier destination for leisure guests seeking a natural escape.
